Gym Etiquette & Policies
Update July 13, 2020: Since reopening we have updated some of our procedures to accommodate social distancing and enhanced health and safety protocols. You can view these important changes here.
At this time you must book an appointment with us to train (no walk-ins).
In order to cancel an appointment and use the paid credit for a future session, you must cancel at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you do not show up or cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the appointment cost (or forfeit the prepaid session credit).
Purchase & Refund Policy
All class packages, memberships, private training packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. The specific terms of your class package or membership, including but not limited to, membership length, expiration dates, and eligibility of memberships, can be found in the details of your membership contract agreement or package description when purchasing.
Pricing and package expiration dates are subject to change without notice. Retail items purchased in-house or online are final sale.
If you have a current class package or membership and an extenuating injury or medical condition that prevents you from being able to attend Donte’s Boxing Gym, you can freeze your class package or membership, as long as it is accompanied by an appropriate doctor’s note, indicating the length of time you’re advised to not participate in strenuous physical activity. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with your request and attached doctor’s note to initiate a freeze.
By registering at Donte’s Boxing Gym, you acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in a program of intense physical exercise by which any of the following could occur: a physical reaction, injury, or death. You hereby waive all rights and claims against Donte’s Boxing Gym Corporation ("Donte’s Boxing Gym") or any of its owner(s), principals, agents, employees, volunteers, (including independent contractors) for any problems, damages, injuries, and or any other issues that may arise from participation in all activities (classes/training) in or outside the premises.
You further acknowledge that Donte’s Boxing Gym strongly recommends that you consult with a physician prior to training, and represent that you (1) have no medical or physical condition that would prevent you from properly using any of the Classes and Facilities at Donte’s Boxing Gym, (2) do not have a physical or mental condition that would put you in any physical or medical danger, and (3) have not been instructed by a physician to not participate in physical exercise. You acknowledge that if you have any chronic disabilities or conditions, you are at risk in using Classes and Facilities at Donte’s Boxing Gym, and should not be participating in any Classes.
You acknowledge that your agreement to this release applies to each time you visit Donte’s Boxing Gym. You hereby acknowledge that you, and any minor under your care, have voluntarily chosen to participate. You assume all risk for your health and well being, and that of any minor under your care, and fully release Donte’s Boxing Gym Corporation (“Donte’s Boxing Gym) from all liability.
COVID-19: Release of Liability
The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus (COVID-19) a serious infectious disease. Due to its capacity to transmit from person-to-person through respiratory droplets, the government has set recommendations, guidelines, and some prohibitions which Donte's Boxing Gym adheres to comply.
In consideration of the aforementioned, by registering and participating in classes and/or entering our facility, you ("the participant"), agree to and acknowledge the following:
(1) You are aware of the risk that you entering the facility and participating in activities and/or training sessions presents and that it may result in injury or illness such as but not limited to Influenza or COVID-19.
(2) You have not experienced symptoms of fever, fatigue, difficulty breathing, dry cough, or exhibiting any other symptoms relating to COVID-19 or any communicable disease within the last 14 days.
(3) You have not, nor any member(s) of your household, traveled by sea or air, internationally, in the last 30 days.
(4) You did not, nor any member of your household, visit any area within the United States that was reported to be highly affected by COVID-19, in the last 30 days.
(5) You have not been, nor any member(s) of your household, diagnosed to be infected of COVID-19 within the last 30 days.
You acknowledge that you are fully and personally responsible for your own safety and actions and recognize that you may be in any case be at risk of contracting COVID-19.
With full knowledge of the risks involved, you hereby release, waive, and discharge Donte's Boxing Gym, its owner(s), principals, agents, employees, volunteers, (including independent contractors), board, officers, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by you related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premise or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Donte's Boxing Gym from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to COVID-19.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

You may opt out of any future contacts from us or correct any information we have about you at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.
You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
